Healing Treatment
There is no set formula for praising the transcending Self, but here is a silent description with great awakening in it. Make it the key speech of your opinion of your neighbors every time you see them outwardly as sick or poor or unhappy. Let no such images keep before your eye. Remember the Real Self. Describe it. And on Monday remember the particular case you are to bring forth out of the darkness.
“I see you, beloved being of light, transcending your past. I see you un-weighted, free. I see you as complete Spirit. Nothing can be added to you. Nothing can be taken from you. I see you as Health. You are one with Universal Health. Nothing can spoil Universal Health. It is God putting away disease. I see you as Omnipotence. It puts aside weakness and shows me God working before me for you, and through you, and by you, forever and ever. I see you as Wisdom looking toward me to speak by you of your heavenly wholeness and peace. I see you as Peace. I see you facing me as Peace that the world cannot take away. I see you as Peace putting aside discord. God is showing Peace now with its touch on your outer life at every point. You are free God becoming visible for my sake, that truth may prevail.
By the grace of God Almighty – by the grace of the Holy Spirit– by the grace of Jesus Christ now falling upon you, and working in you, I command you to show yourself to all the world as untainted Health, and free Omnipotence, from this day forth. And so it is.
Prayer of Recognition
“First look to the Divine One, standing Solitary and Glorious in the midst of the people of the New Age. Saying boldly to that Shining Presence: ‘I see you transcending all human conditions, un-weighted by matter, un-shadowed by fear; free, flawless, triumphant. I look now to the Child of God, the Angel of God’s Presence, the cure and peace and strength of all creation. I look to Everlasting Life, shedding forth the radiance of the Everlasting Kingdom. All are gathered into life ever renewing, into health ever restoring, into wisdom ever brightening and rejoicing. Gathered and up-borne in Beauty and Love and Might by Thee, O Free Spirit, Victorious Christ Jesus facing me, with face shining as the Sun and Raiment White as the Light, transfiguring the whole earth with Living Triumph!’”
Anointing
The Apostolic succession in Christian ministry was very efficacious in drawing forth to visibility the Stainless Spark, of a person, by the laying on of hands. For more than fifteen centuries the Christian minister laid his ordained hand upon the breast of his sick parishioner with sacred tenderness while repeating the accepted Christian formula for healing:
“As with this visible oil your body outwardly is anointed, so our heavenly Father, Almighty God, grant of His infinite goodness that your soul, inwardly, may be anointed with the Holy Ghost, who is the Spirit of all strength, comfort, relief and gladness. And grant in His great mercy to restore unto you your bodily health, and strength, to serve Him, and send you release from all your pains, troubles and diseases, both in body and mind – through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Healing Treatment
We will take Thursday to regard our neighbors as within, at our hidden meeting place with God. Also on Thursday, we will speak to the one that we love best, at our meeting place with God. This is a good treatment to give concerning one who had an accident or who has been taken ill suddenly. It takes them past the chemical change they are passing through.
“In mine integrity within me, where I see as God and know as God, I know you, Beloved, as Free Spirit. I know you as alive with life that death cannot touch. I know you as strong with Omnipotence, whole and complete as a Child of God, wise to know yourself as unhurt by matter or mind. Show yourself to all the world as I know you at my integrity point. Acknowledge with boldness and confidence that you are free, strong, glad Spirit, without pain or disease.”
There is an angel always standing near someone in trouble. Let us agree with the angel and see health and strength made visible by our firm secret insistence.
From the Radiant I Am
I AM the power of Beauty and Judgment. From my poised place I AM the poise of the ages of men. I judge, and my judgment is what all things go by. They judge like me. I set the features of things into balance and this is their beauty. I balance the atoms that flow in the skin and its balance is its beauty. I set the inner parts into harmony by being the central judgment of eternal facts. I decree and there is no injustice. Nothing falls into mistake. Nothing is unjust. The scales of my judgment are the scales in the hearts of all men. They will not fail to use these scales. And thus order and beauty reign from Pole Star to Southern Cross and from right-hand to left of the worlds beyond worlds. I AM a scale whose rods are the beams of unbreakable right. My judgment is right judgment. As I judge, so it is.
All the poise that I AM I radiate through the universe and all things feel the joy of adjustment. This is my ministry. This is my nature. I think this…. I speak this…. I write this…. I live this…..
From Self-Treatment
My God takes no time to perform wonderful, wonderful things. How glorious art Thou, how mighty, how astonishing to the former ways! I praise and extol Thee, and praising and extolling Thee, all that is unlike Thee, all that is against Thee, disappears! I as mortal, incompetent, ignorant, am swallowed up of Immortality, Wisdom, God! I am swallowed up of my Self! Every fiber of me shines! Every movement of me glorifies. My raiment is all white and glistening. Every word of me delights. Yet not I, but the Father that dwells in me!
Not unto me but unto Thee the glory! My name shall no more be earth – but Thy name is my name. The earth me has perished at sight of Thee. I remember not the former me. As a dream when one awakes so at sight of Thee I forget all but Thee. There are not two of me. There is only One. That One is Radiant God.
